Professor Tip is a beat maker, dee jay, artist, printmaker, and a plain creator. He hails from Fresno, but has spent time in San Francisco, San Jose, and Honolulu. He makes music starting with old records, then samples them and manipulates them like an audio collage. His main weapons are an Akai MPC 2000xl, Ensoniq ASR 88, Live, Logic, turntables and records.
